Q. Has the drug Incidal (anti histamine drug not containing Cetrizine) manufactured by Indal been banned? What is the exact substitute?
A. Incidal used to contain a medicine called mebhydrolin that caused heavy sedation. It has been discontinued in most advanced countries. For excessive nose discharge, you may take Loratadine (Brand name: Loridin Rapitabs).
